I'm am SO excited about the sale tomorrow!
First of all, as a club we are totally blessed to have a group of ladies headed by Pat M. who collect, prepare and price estates/consignments for our club. They have put hundreds of hours in to prepare for this sale.
Even setting up for the sale today took hours!
Unfortunately, the charger for my camera is missing and the cord to download pictures from my old camera and my phone is missing also.
We have six 6' round tables, two 6' rectangular tables, two 4' tables and other items placed on the packing boxes and totes. SO much stuff!
A lot of furniture, about 10 Michael's hutches, accessories, some supplies and tools, electrified lamps, books, magazines, wallpaper, petit point kits, lots of dolls (both resin and built), Christmas items, lycopodium, landscaping materials, Chrysnbon and House of Miniature kits....
There is a 1:24 dollhouse and two or three 1:48 houses; three roomboxes decorated with woodland scenes.
There are several beautiful fairies (larger than dollhouse scale) that are limited edition. Four have accompanying paperwork. These are relatively expensive but they are exquisite!
Committee members are not allowed to buy in advance but club members do get a one hour start on the general public.
We had some residents drop by to see what we were up to this morning so I expect we'll see them back tomorrow. All but one had seen my miniatures earlier and the other stopped by my place this morning. She had seen individual miniatures over the years but had never seen what could be done with them. She was impressed!
