If you've been around for awhile, you may remember Lisa Vollrath who used to be the guide at About.com Miniatures. She now has a website "Go Make Something" .
In her "How To" section, there are over 160 articles and how-to lessons on a variety of altered art and paper crafts topics. Many of these have miniature applications.
Her free printables section includes a good selection of 17 categories of miniature printables, including some great folding screens. I particularly like her selection of door covers. There are some good faux book covers also.
