Lamp Roombox is Finished!

The back wall: (Really annoying that Lee Valley no longer carries poster velcro so these are attached with regular velcro that I got at Dollarama.) The pen sketch is by Lois Bienvenue of Vegreville; The fireweed picture is the one my neighbour gave me earlier in the week; the hot air balloon is from an art gallery in Dartmouth, NS and the forest scene is by Karen Bainbridge in Ontario.
I painted the pedestals black to add some contrast but they were TOO stark so I added a coat of ivy green glazing - and I was pleased with the results. The pieces on the pedestals were from my stash. The pedestals and artwork were glued in place with movable miniatures glue.

The floral painting was purchased from John Meacham's wife, Victoria(?), one year at Camp Mini Ha Ha.

And here it is!

    1. Liz and Wayne,
As I told you earlier, this is one of the best kits I've ever done. Absolutely love it! Thanks to both of you for this.
      Hugs, Maureen

  3. Thanks a bunch! (Wouldn't you know, after I finished it, I found some other things that could/should have gone in it.)
