Art Day at Leo Nickerson

Each year Joanne and I have a table at the Art Day at Leo Nickerson School. We take some of our miniatures and talk to the students as they come by our table. Last year's day is here.

Last year, I took a Teddy Bears' Picnic roombox to be given away in a draw.

This year, I'm going to do the Three Bears' home.

This is a Russian bread box that Sue Lowe at Sir George Simpson School gave me when she retired. The minute I saw it, I knew it would be a perfect home for the Three Bears.

These pieces go on the ends of the roof. One is missing so I'll have to improvise.

Papa, Mama and Baby Bear
Here's the furniture I have for it so far. Have to make three beds and appliances of some sort for the kitchen but I think it will come together okay.

Hope to have it done so I can display it at the Show and Sale then deliver it to the school on the 21st so they can display it before Art Day on September 25.
